Places to try in Northshore

The Northshore neighborhood of Chattanooga is connected to Downtown Chattanooga by 4 bridges.  One of the four bridges that is a favorite of residents and visitors alike is the famous Walnut Street Bridge, one of the world’s longest pedestrian bridges. Dog friendly, the Walnut Street Bridge provides easy walkable access to all the downtown attractions. 

A portion of the Tennessee Riverwalk can be found along the Northshore’s Coolidge and Renaissance park’s shoreline. Visit a number of local shops or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river after visiting one of the many wonderful restaurants. The Hamilton County School District

The Hamilton County School district has  76 schools serving 45,000 students from grades Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.  It is important to note that 66 of these schools have attendance zones. Hamilton County has 12 magnet schools across the district with 9 having small attendance zones. The rest are open enrollment from across the district.
